HP's "streetuse" header?
Nopionline has it for a 4-1 1 piece header, but when you click on the part # 251+1059 the wording changes. The description changes that it is a 2 piece header, and the picture is probably wrong, in fact I know the picture has to be wrong. So does anyone know anything about it? It has a nice price~$178.??

i have the 4-1 short header..basically..its like the dc sports header but a lil bigger..the gains are minimal (big surprise there) but u can still feel it..barely..i felt it more on the mid range..but like i said..barely..its mainly a cosmetic piece than anything..if u really want gains, get the full race header..that will definately get u gains that u can feel. but if u wanna keep your car smog legal, go for tha hp short header..its better than the dc sports in my opinion.

Ill Mitch, I'm not sure why the description changes after you click on it. E-mail them and ask.....see what they say.
Civicmx, The HP 4-1 header and high flow cat shouldn't cause any problems unless you install them backwards.
As I'm sure most of you know......the only problem with this header is that you have to shave a motor mount if you're installing onto an EX model. Other than that I've heard nothing but good things, and the gains are good.

yeah, good point.
If you live in california or anywhere with strict smog regulations you probably won't be able to pass a smog test with the high flow cat. As for installation.....If you have an EX 5-speed, it'll take some time because you have to squeeze the header into a pretty tight spot and you have to shave that motor mount. If you have any other model you'll just have to squeeze it in there and bolt it up. If you have time and basic mechanical skills, you should be able to do this.

hi !!! i hgave a sedan ex automatic , about the teste i live in mexico , we dont have that type of test so that header fit the sedan ex auto.......
why is it that some people say that u have to shave the motor mounts to fit it in and others have stated that they didnt need too. and i dont think it had much to do with it being manual or auto, but im prob wrong?

It fits without modification on every model except for the EX 5-speed. With the addition of the manual transmission it moves the motor mount right in the path of this header. I think someone had taken the mount off, put the header in, and put the mount back on.......but it was vibrating up against it so they had to shave it anyway.
