Matrix Tail lights
Are Matrix tail lights well built? Also, are they DOT approved or whatever? I know I like the look of them, just
wanted to check the quality and making sure they're for street use.

- You're talking about the donut shaped altezzas right? Quality= crap, worse even than APC. One of my lights had a gap on the top you could stick your pinkie in. (and i don't have small pinkies). I had to reseal them with a LOT of sealant to keep them from leaking. I don't think they are DOT approved either, but you aren't likely to get in trouble for them because they do have the reflector on the side. They look pretty tight, but at night the light from them is uh well rather pinkish rather than red... my advice: if you can get for between $100-120, get them, just be prepared to reseal them. Otherwise, get the APCs. (If you must get altezzas.... I already took mine off and sold them)

I used to have a 97 accord and i got the matrix altezzas... my set up was 4-piece, 2 pices on each side like the 7th gen sedans... well anyway, when i was all done putting them in, i was stoked! i closed my trunk to seal the deal and... SNAP! lo and behold, one piece was longer than it should have been and snapped! i had to glue it back on and sand it down... Matrix=SUCK! (jus my opinion, i had the bulbs too, they screwed up my electricals... long story...)
