post the link for it...unless it's a complete header it won't fit DX/LX's.

The header is made for the EX. If you put it on the LX you have to cut a piece out of the motor mount, and change the CAT to get it to fit right

you wouldn't have to cut anything..but you'fd need an EX cat and exhaust system...better off to get the HP headers

I have an LX and i haven't installed the header yet for that reason. I read somewhere that it has to be installed from underneath the car and it involves cutting a piece out of one of the mounts. I could have read wrong though.

You only have to cut if your cheap.. you can unbolt the engine mounts and lower the engine a few inches and fit the HP header in.. Cutting a mount is never a bright idea...

understood. and I like to think of it as thrifty not cheap . That makes sense, I didn't want to cut anything, which is one reason i haven't put them in yet.

You unbolt the engine mounts...the car has to be on a lift for this..and you need a tall jack to let the engine down..then raise it back to bolt the mounts back in..

I dont think thats an OBX header.

look at whats on the header, it says ssautochrome whatever..

i think they make their own or something.... they use to sell a diff. designed header for the 7th gen ex...

this one seems a bit more weird...

they do sell OBX products, but according to OBX... lots of ebay sellers have been selling stuff thats not OBX products but they claim it to be (not like theres any diff. between generic and OBX anyway)

the price on it now is kinda expensive...

I got my shorty header for 98 shipped... it really shouldn't cost more for something of that quality.

once I get my thread re-thread and that stuck bolt out.. its going back on my car with a header wrap.

OBX can't get their labeling right...

and that seller can't get its product listed right...

they threw in all these names... you dont even know waht you're getting.

but they do ship fast. heh.
