M3 mirrors......

I am thinking about getting some M3 style mirrors for my civic, however I need to know if there are only plastic ones out there, and if there is fiber glass, will the stock fittings support the weight. Also, I heard that plastic can be very difficult to paint reliably as it will chip easily and it generally is hard to make paint stick to it. Any ideas on how I can go about this? Thanks for any info that can be afforded.....

To add to this post I'm looking for Carbon Fiber M3 mirrors with a blue turn signal for our model car. Manual adjust is okay, but I prefer power mirrors........where can they be found? I don't care about how much they cost, just as long as i can get them.

IDQcivic should not be trusted
I just got some APC carbon fiber m3 mirrors (no turn signal), hopefully I'll put them on today and post some pics later... Anyways I couldnt find m3 carbon fiber power mirrors so I just got the manual ones, I never adjust my mirrors because I'm the only one who drives my car, unless I bump it when I'm washing it. They look like they are pretty good quality.

There are selling a pair of M3 power mirrors w/ led signals on eBay that I was looking at yesterday. Here, check them out. The auction ends in 13 hours. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1869373713

If anyone here knows how to wire the m3 mirrors, please let me know! Honda's wires are all different colors on BOTH sides. Each side the wires are different colors...what was Honda thinking???

The guy selling them says that there is a plug and play connector. He had them painted satin silver to match his car but never installed them.
