how do u know when it's time to replace the air conditioner/ cabin filter?

when no more cold air comes out of the aircondition,[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] naw just kiddin. when u run out of freon is when you need to look into it.

I think he's talking about the air filter that filters the air that goes into the cabin. I think there is access to it thru the glove box or something.

I'd like to know too.

The parts guy at my honda dealer said that there's two of them back there. AND they're like $20 - $25 each!!

I heard that you're supposed to replace them once a year.. and they're like 70 bucks from the dealer??

I change mine every 10K miles...

Yes, there are 2 filters behind the glovebox and they are so easy to change out (just look in your manual) ...Don't let the dealer do this and charge you for it

They run $20-$26 each and it only takes literally 5 minutes to DIY

Take it out and have a look, if it's really dirty change it.... also i'm gonna try to find those home fan/AC Hepa filters and see if i can make it fit...maybe it'll give me better air quality and reduce the odours, but most of all it might be cheaper...

These filter are suppose to collect allergens(if that's how you spell it) and dust that's blowing into the cabin from the A/C heater pipes
