Damn Halo SUX!! TYC's anything that says projectors suck. I mean it looks good during the day but at night its really dim. I still have em and i think im gonna switch back to stock, so if i were you just clear corners and get the HID bulbs.

I got my TYC black housing headlights just yesterday. Their site claims that they do in-house testing to ensure that their lights don't fog up and that they also test for lighting compliance. those halo lights dont appeal to me much, when i looked at them they looked very flimsy, TYC's aren't that much different but they seemed a little more strurdy to me. However, i wouldve just kept the stock ones and cleared them out, but some lady decided i needed new head lights instead and backed into the corner of my car in a praking lot and just left a note on my window that said "sorry." as soon as i get a new fender, i'll put them in. i can send/post pics.

ok.. so i have the tyc's, and lets face it guys, our stock headlights are THE BEST honda has ever put on civics... they light up more road than aNY other generation headlights.. I KNOW.. ive had them all,,, LMAO.. but anyways.. the TYC's ARENT bad... ive had them for like 6 months.. they fog up a little in lots of rain, no biggee.. but they light up the road well overall.. remember guys: projectors DO NOT necessarily light up the road better, in fact, all they do is concentrate the light.. w/o HID.. they are always gonna light up less than the stock light... i WILL NOT switch back, i like the projector look WAY THE HELL too much.. and i like the way they look on as well.. HID in the stock housing is NICE FOR SURE.. but i wouldnt go back, i just sold my stocks as a matter of fact...

you don't want HID in our stock headlights; believe me, i've gone through 2 sets. the beam pattern is wack! there is a lot of stray lights and most of it points up. i just ordered the silver tyc projectors and i'm gonna buy the H1 HID bulbs to use with my current HID ballasts. HID's work best with projectors.

Hid's work best with HID projectors, but if your planning on doing another kit on another halogen fixture your gonna be triple dissapointed. Try using hid units and dremel them into your tyc's. As soon as Genera stops the bs and actually sells the chrome projectors im gonna start my project w/ hid projectors from an e46 or s2k.
