EX Exhaust
I've noticed that all cat-back exaust applications out there say 2001+ Civic EX Cpe, and then some like Magnaflow say 2001+ Civic DX/LX/EX Cpe. Now I havent had the chance to hop underneath an EX and compare it to my dx, but as far as I know they have the same exact exhaust system, and the "EX" only exhaust should mount right up to my DX coupe.. if anyone has done this and knows for sure it will work let me know.
Sometimes, I can see right through myself ...

No this will not work at all. The DX/LX is *completely* different from an EX. The cat is bolted onto the bottom of the headers, whereas the EX cat is in the middle of the pipe. You could of course install an EX catback and then get custom piping from it to the bottom of your headers. That will work.

so than the LX/DX are the exact same correct? I don't understand why performance part manufactuers dont list it as fitting LX and DX models, because as far as I know that LX is the same exact as a DX just includes A/C and power options.. but Same motor and same performance.. so everything that will fit the LX will fit my DX.. right?
- In terms of intake/header/exhaust, yes, anything that fits an LX will also fit a DX. If you *really* want a EX bolt up exhaust, you can buy an EX header+ex exhaust + ex front sway bar and it *should* fit.
