What is the Fram filter that fits?
OK, just got back from AutoZone where the guy looked up the Fram filter and told me it was PH6607, I get back, check their website to make sure its right, and it says ph7317. Which is it?
I'd probably go with what the FRAM website says. I went to AutoZone and asked what size wiper blades I needed, and the guy gave me the wrong size for both of them. I also went there the other day and asked if they had any adhesive remover (like 3M). The guy says, yeah, and goes in the back and brings out a can of some sort of spray that removes bumper stickers. AutoZone doesn't know sh@%!

I took it back to AutoZone... The thing was small enough to be a lawn tractor filter. I traded it for the Bosch number that I found on here, so I'm set.

Don't get a FRAM, get a Bosch Premium Oil filter. I did my research. It's the best bang for the buck. Ask an Autozone guy for th epart number. It should be 3323 or something like that...

Well I know that it is not 3593a! It will fit but it is not the right one. I put that same filter on my wifes 98 Accord. I used to change oil at the local shop. The one you need is 7317.

Yah... When I went back, I got the bosch... 5.49 sounds reasonable. Then 75 damn cents for that crush washer under the drain bolt. It must have been an "Acura Washer" because the same ones were 19 cents at the Honda dealer, I just didn't feel like going across town to get it

There's also a FilterTech filter at Walmart which sells for a lot less, but is exactly the same one as the Bosch premium one!!! THe part number is just like the Fram one. 7317
I've heard K&N is decent.
But from what I've found; Mobil1 and Amsoil are some of the best oil filters on the market. But $$$ always plays a factor.
FRAM is kinda crappy though, if you don't want to spend that much money.. go with Bosch.
