TYC projector question

or should I keep the stock bulbs?
which ones would look better?
and one more would replaceing hyperwhites even make a difference
Sorry but I know nothing about bulbs and such

when i got my projectors, it came with different bulbs already in the headlights, so you may not need new ones. Also, most projector headlamps us different bulbs than the stock housing.

but what about the turn signals and such?
should I change those or just keep them stock?

the TYCs come with all the bulbs. the turn signals are not the same bulbs as stock, but they are orange the way they ship them, so thats good.
im having the same dilemma as you are right now. the lights are bright, the only thing that hyperwhites will do is give the light a bluish tint, so it looks like HID. what im thinking of doing is just changing the projector (low beam) bulb and keeping the high beam the way it is. ill spend less money that way, and i dont really use high beams that much anyways. one thing tho is that i dont want to get 100 watt bulbs. i dont want to fry my wiring. and i havent been able to find many places with 55 watt hyperwhites.
hope that helps.

If you put hyperwhites in projectors they will blow out fast because they
produce alot of heat. You can change the parking light bulbs and have no
problems, there the same bulbs as the stock headlights.

They produce more heat because the blue tint from the glass is just paint and dye which conducts heat e.g. certain cups and plates are not microwavable safe especially the ones with designs because of the paint. Paint or any oil based medium conducts heat and once you get darker like dark blue tint it adds more temperature. Its like wearing a dark blue shirt in the middle of the beach in 110 degree weather as opposed to a white shirt in the same weather. Get it?
as long as you buy respectable hyper white bulbs for the projectors they will not blow. Just don't touch the bulbs by hand otherwise the oil from your skin will cause the glass to blow when the oil heats up on the bulb. I have the TYC projectors installed in my car and have replaced only the high beams with hyper white which do give that bluish tint. I chose not to replace my regular driving lights cause cops pick you up better at night and you do get a bluish color, but not quite the same as HIDS. Both the driving lights and brights use H1 bulbs for the TYC's. Before installing the lights/ bulbs make sure to align the lights. Sometimes the lights come a little bit off. Hope this helps.
Since both low and high beams use H1 bulbs, any problem using a 55w in the low and 80 or 100 watt in the highs? Would there be a danger of melting the plastic cover and would you need a heavy duty wiring harness?
on my highs I upped the wattage, but then again I don't drive much with my highs on. I haven't had a problem yet with em for 2 months, but then if you leave em on a lot I would not reccommend it. As for the HIDS, I'm not sure but I thought that they have their own housing (depending on which brand) in which you wouldn't be using the TYC's, so I don't really see a problem. Besides when the bulb gets hot it shouldn't be touching any plastic, therefore no melting.
