Greddy or Thermal Catback Exhaust?

I am going to be buying a catback exhaust. I am either getting a Greddy Evo or a Thermal. Anybody have any suggestions on which one is better? I want a nice deep sound.

Well, if you want a Greddy EVO, call me up. I have "1" at an un-beatable price.

I would go with the Greddy but it'll cost more than the Thermal

I'm going with the thermal eventually, after I save up enough money.
Here are some things I've heard about each one:

-Thermal is all stainless steel. Greddy muffler is stainless, but not piping (won't last as long).

-They both look and sound nice, with the Greddy having a larger tip.

-The Greddy is louder, although the Thermal is still deep sounding.

-Gains are about equal. For thermal, maybe 2-4 HP.

You really have to decide yourself, based on how loud of a system you want. I want mine quiet so I can listen to music and not the exhaust. Our cars are loud enough as it is when it comes to road noise.

Hey Maverick, how is your thermal stealth system? I have a sedan and am thinking about getting this exhaust.

Thanks for the websites, but I think I found a good deal on Modacar.com. They have this power package. You get an AEM COld Air Intake, DC Sports Header, and a Greddy Catback exhaust for $950. And the package with the Thermal Research exhaust is a little cheaper, I think it is $895 or something like that. You'll have to check it out if anybody is interested.

I would recommend not buying either! They both rob you of your low-end grunt (torque). Instead, keep your OEM mid-section (proven to be very free-flowing) and bolt on the HKS Hiper axle-back exhaust. In conjunction with the AEM CAI and DC Header, you'll enjoy your car much more than with these oversized cat-back systems.

I own a Greddy EVO and an HKS Hiper axle-back exhaust system so this is not an ignorant suggestion.

Greddy weighs a ton as well (no weight savings there). Thermal sounds like a loud bumble-bee once you get into the higher RPM's and has been known to interfere with rear suspension/chassis components.

If you really want a cat-back system that sounds good, is lightweight, and will provide you with the most beautiful growl ever...get the Tanabe Racing Medallion. Not really going to help your performance (no cat-back does much for our little 1.7L cars), but one VERY nice system.

My 2 cents...
