Yea Ive been told from several Places that Lumar Tint was the best. Thats what I got and I debated on the mirror tint but decided to stick with the regular tint and Im extremely happy. I dont like the mirror tint and neither does my Wife. I went with 18% and am very happy with it. All Except they didnt tint over the brake light in the rear window which sux they said that was against the law...

I have Lumar on my car and I'm very happy with it. I've never heard of Johnson tint. About white... I've seen white vinyl eyebrows, but never on the side windows. If its the mirrored tint you're talking about, it looks stupid. I hate that stuff. Except on a Lexus.

first... there is no such thing as TRANSPARENT white tint... there is a white film.. but it is WHITE OUT... you cannot see through it.

There is no "BEST" film... after a certain level they are more or less all the same. Llumar, Johnsons, Madico, SolarGard.... etc etc etc . To YOU, the consumer.. what BRAND you are getting is totally irrelevant... we tinters could make up any name we wanted really, ... and tell you whatever name we wanted... would you know the difference??? honestly? No.

you need to look for SKILL LEVEL , NOT BRAND! ~ take a look at some work he's already done to get an idea.

Yeah they installed Solar Gard all around my ride in 6% w/ window strip and it looks awesome. My buddy has Lumar tint and I can tell the difference between his and mine. My old civic has some crap tint quality its not purple but just crap color over all. Can't remember the name off top but it sucks so on my new civic solar gard all the way. But I payed $175 for the whole job

ive gotten pretty good at tinting..the only thing i havent tried tinting are back windows, its too big, hard to reach, and it curves which makes it hard to do a one piece (to me i think)..to tell ya the truth its not hard at all doing the sides
