Got My Kamikaze Header

I got it yesterday and its a 4-1 design. It fits perfect but, they forgot to pack my nuts, bolts, and new donut gasket!!!I used the old stuff but still have no bottom gasket. I called them and they told me that they will send a pack out and I should get it within 2 days... Importparts.com $245 call for that price. I can feel a difference, now I just need that gasket to quiet this thing down.

Is this one street legal? Unlike the HP one?

btw, flame away, but what does hp stand for? (I mean the company, not horsepower).

The HP, you have to cut away some of the motor mount
BTW HP... High Performance, or Horse Power, maybe Horny People
not street legal... had to pull the cat. needed a o2 simulator.

Damn, why can't they make a decent mod that keeps our cars legal?

Who did you talk to about the nuts, bolts, and new gasket? I called Kamikaze after I got my header for the same reason. They told me that they don't supply any of the hardware with the header because it's not needed. They said that they designed the header to work with the existing parts. Importparts didn't have a clue when I talked to them, so if that's who you talked to, they may be sending you something useless. Not sure, that's just my experience.

I called Kamikaze directly... They were very apoligenic and helpful they're number is on the warranty card. if you didn't get anything then what did you use for the donut gasket on the bottom?

couldn't u just use the stock one? (detach it from the stock upper header)

you're talking about whats between the upper section and the downpipe right?

get it from honda if you have to. shouldn't cost over 5 bucks or anything.

I used my stock one... I forgot to and it sounded like a broken exhaust system... its got the low tone deal, and its got the rattling...

finally got it fixed and now I dont hear a peep. heh. sounds exactly like stock.

I felt an improvement when the gasket wasn't there and the exhaust was leaking! lol.

now I dont really know for sure. low end MAY have been increase by a bit. feels I get up to speed faster even during regular shifting... so maybe I did get some of 'em more torque. *shrug*

I'm gonna get some header wrap when I can.

The shop that installed it made a piece of custom pipe to fit between the downpipe and the exhaust. That makes me mad that Kamikaze told me that. Oh well, I haven't had any problems, but I may still call Kamikaze and see what they have to say.
