best bang for your buck ?

I have a 1.7 eL, and want to know what kind of mods I can do (not too $$) for a decent increase in power increase? the car is on a lease so nothing pernament.

Nitrous.

Or the HP 4 into 1 header with high flow catalytic converter - IF you can install it properly since it's a RACE header. This is the best performance part for our car in terms of speed but since it's a race header people couldn't put it on properly without modifying parts of the engine bay.

EDIT: Back it up with an intake ($200) and exhaust ($200-$600)
