I took mine out two days ago to check its conditions and it was Black. I mean Completetly black.

Where can I order them.
I have gone to about 7 different website and they don't have a product for part number 33-2192 I whent to K&N and the part number is correct.

55 000 miles without replacing the air filter[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]
it should be changed aroung 15 000 depending where u live also
no wonder it has what u think is grease the filter is oil charged like the K&N so with all the dirt on it it looks like grease and is actualy cloging the filter
u should feel the defrence when u change it

every 15,000 miles. I just check mine every 6 months; on my other car . I bouth the car in May and thought that they had change the filter so didn't bother looking till a few days ago.
i dunno too well about drop in filters, but i'm thinking of getting one cuz i'm reaching somewhere or maybe i reached 15k mileage. but is there any other significance besides estra 4hp that's been mentioned above? will the car sounded differently? i dunno..
