Body Kits and Winter time
Body Kits and Winter time
I live in upstate Ny, where we tend to get quite a bit of snow from time to time.
Is it best to raise the car hight every winter, or take off the body kit if its to low.
I don't have my kit yet, I just need to know before hand.
Thanks in advance.

its a personal choice. I live in CT and most peope who have kits tend to only remove the front bumper for the winter and put on the stock. i dont know of too many people that mess with the ride height either... about the only thing ive heard and seen is taking off your rims, and going with a narrow snow tire or all season on stock rims. less surface area equals more pounds per square in on the road. granted, the car wont handle like it does in the summer, but it does help, and you wont sit there spinning your tires.

Well my car is 2 inches off the ground and my kit is molded so taking it off wouldent be an option. Buy a winter beater unless u want ur kit wreaked or wana look dumb. You coul always reraise the car and put it all back to stock if u didnt mold ur stuff on, but then why have a kit?
