hey, i know you asked about cat-back...but i only have the rear section. anyways, its the j-spec rear, and im very happy with it. the sound is exactly what i wanted. deep growl, not too loud, but def. audible. but its not annoying either, it kind of becomes a hum when youre driving.
cant say i really noticed any HP gains, i wasnt really expecting to. i did kind of notice smoother low end power. maybe cause some of the low end torque was lost. but even still, im not noticing any loss in power. i have a 5-speed LX btw.
my reasoning was that the stock piping doesnt seem all that restrictive to me, plus i have a leased car, so unless i was changing the whole exhaust (header and cat and cat back with those for EX) it didnt really make sense to me to change all the piping. plus its like $300 cheaper than a cat back.
hope this helped in some way.
