DC TCS....stupid question im sure

alright i know ive been here a loooong time and i should know this...but i never really took the time to learn

i have an oppertunity to get a DC TCS for a good price...however its for an EX...and i have an LX....

now if i bought it and attempted to install it...what problems would i encounter?? im sure the pipes wont line up the same..or will they?? should i buy it and try it??

i need REAL answers...i know its a stupid question, but we're all entitled to at least one

DAMN NOOB... SEARCH!!!!!!..... oh wait nevermind, it's you....

it will fit just fine except you will have a gap between the cat-back pipes and the down pipe... the gap is where the EX cat is supposed to be.

Get it and take it to a shop and have them weld on a pipe the same size to fill in the gap

Don't they have one out for the LX/DX yet? I could have sworn they do. I don't know.

I agree with hefe i think the ex would work, i would just take it to a muffler shop and say here ya go, INSTALL. then vroom, i think it only needs an extension.

Actually, I would just go for it. It would make a great DIY. And I think I am going in that direction too. Every place I have checked for the LX/DX model has been sold out. So...yea.
