Injen CAI... These instructions Suck!

Sorry if I sound royally pissed right now, but I was told one thing by the store, then get the instructions and read something else. These instructions are very vague and difficult to figure out. So here goes.

1. I can't find the 6" of vaccum hose that is supposed to be supplied for the breather. It's not in the bag and I can't find it. Where else would it be? Or do I have to call Injen and tell them they screwed up?
2. Do you really have to cut the splash guard or is this something that can be avoided?
3. It says to remove an M10 bolt, but doesn't say where it is? So where the heck is it?
Any additional information you can provide will also help. This is my first mod...

the bolt ur talking about is the bolt that holds a group of wires. u replace that with the vibramount(rubber scrue). u dont have to cut the spalsh guard. fits a little tight but hey its a 2k1 civic. what ever fits is better than nuttin. there should be a hose. if not just buy one from an auto shop. or use ur garden hose for now. lol

You can just move the splash guard aside and squeeze the intake pipe through. The bolt can be seen in some of the member pics. Do a search to find a better pic, sorry I don't have a link for you.
