I have the blue neons on my silver EX too. I think the blue looks the best, but it all depends on your color scheme. Another thing to think of is whether you're gonna want to ride with them on or not. If you're worried about showing them off while driving, get a color that most states will let you ride with. While some states won't let you ride with them on at all......most only make the blue and the red illegal.
well i have the blue under mine too. I have to agree with AEMcivic the blue looks the best i think. I have the inca pearl civic with all blue under car neons and blue interior neons and strobes so my light scheme matches perfect. If ur going to go with a color neon then go with all of the same color i think.
here's my white ones

Blue is one of the darker colors out there.. they're still bright enough. maybe the ones you saw weren't the gold series, or weren't StreetGlow. here's more pics, in a darker location:

i have white neons on my white car and i think that they are pretty bright. my transformer blew on them so they arent wired up to a switch right now, ill mess with them and try to get a pick up for you to see later today.

I have seen the Streetglow Green Neon and White.... and yes the Green were frickin bright-as-hell. Brighter than the white
Nothing was wrong with yours though.... Only way to solve the flickering is to get a Cap for for system, high output Alternator, and a big battery
