What are citylights?

What are citylights?
What exactly do they do? can they be wired to a swith instead of the headlights? anyone have them?? i know they tint the headlight, btu i still dont understand..... how would you put them into our headlights?

Rep Power: 0 you drill a little hole in your head light housing a stick a bulb in there. it makes your head lights glow what ever color your bulb is.

Rep Power: 0 Yeah, you install them just like strobes. Infact, they look just like strobes, but they don't blink. Most of them have the colored sleeves that allow you to change to whatever color you like.

Rep Power: 0 just curious...do they have a switch to them...so u can turn on and off...or do they stay on when your lights also go on...makin the light glow blue
i put city lights into my tyc projectors. they already had holes in them and thought i would go ahead and put them in while i have them out.
many of the german cars have them. they are used when you are in the city and the street lights are bright enough.
they are suppose to be hooked up to your parking lights.
