By word on some of the threads, you get better gains from the HP header. If you have emissions in your state, you might want to go with DC since their header is CARB.

I talked to DC, and they said they're not making a header for the LX due to emissions. You will either have to go with HP or Kamikaze.

I don't know about the HP header, but the Kamikaze fits.

alright, now the reason lx headers are so hard to come by is because the cat converter is connected to the headers, unlike a lot of the other cars the cat is with the exhaust. i was told in order for a catback and header to work on the lx is to buy both ex products (headers, exhaust) get an after market cat and customize it to fit. so why spend 800-900 bucks to do that. it would be ridiculous. now this is just what i heard does anyone have anything different?

Your pretty much right. You can buy an ex header and slap on an ex exhaust to a lx. You also have to either trick the second O2 sensor with a simulator or extend the O2 sensor wire. If you play your cards right, you should be able to do this for under $800.

With the current HP header people have to shave a bit off where the header attaches to the engine, cuz the header is to big and hit the radiator......and cutting a small notch out of the front swaybar......Hope they get it fixed soon........F@cK emissions......

What about using the headers, an EX downpipe, and an EX catback. Wouldn't this combination work on an LX?
