I have them and really wouldn't recomend them. The brackets and sliders they come with will not match up with our cars. I had to purchase some that would fit through mmrusa.com and even those needed some modifications to work. Also I have had the seats installed for maybe 3-4 months and they are already starting to show wear on the supposedly high wear pads on the bolsters . About the only good thing I can say about the R1 seats is that they look pretty cool and they are 10x more comfortable than the stock seats but I don't think they are gonna last. You really should do yourself a favor by saving up the extra cash for some quality seats from Sparco.

well that sucks. what about D.A.D. seats? theyre like 50 bucks more than the R-1's and look just as nice. do the D.A.D.'s wear easily too?

I have the SAME EXACT story as beefman. He put it well. I also bought sliders/brackets from MMRUSA.com They needed a slight mod ..2 drills on each bracket and that was it.. It was easy but took a while to put together. R1 = bad.

sparco is prolly the best. the torinos are really nice for just everyday driving and racing. reclinable and comfortable. but also 7-800 bucks EACH...the only other seats i can afford are now the D.A.D. seats. theyre about the same price as the R1. lets hope they dont suck as much ***
