It depends on what piping you have for your exhaust. You have to consider the whole exhaust system. Not enough back pressure will cause bad gas mileage, loss in power, and could ruin your internals. DCS only made a top section for a reason.

I have the Kamikaze header specifically made for lx/dx. However, it's not street legal and you will fail emissions if you have them. The Kamikaze header comes with a downpipe welded to it.

$275 - www.importparts.com. There was a group buy going on, but I don't know if it is still in effect. You'll also need an O2 simulator to get your check engine light to go off. $45 - www. diabloautosports.com. I think the downpipe is 2.25". I would definitely recommend it. Noticeable gain due to removal of cat, not as much airflow restriction.

D00d...I have an LX sedan. I was wondering if you installed the custom piping yourself, or if you took it somewhere?

would I be able to bolt my stock cat on to some custom piping, or at least macguyver something so taht I can buy the DC sports header for the EX?

or should I just go with the HP racing header for LX, and the DC TCS for the LX?

the bottom line is that the HP doesn't fit well, and I'm impatient
I want it yesterday!
