Should i spend the $480 for the Cat or just get the mullfer?

i have saved up but i just don't know should i get the magnaflow cat back for my civic dx or should i just get a muffler what do u guys thing does it void the warrenty buy the way and will i see anygains in the pick upp!!!???????!!!!!!

well, for one, the only thing it voids is your exhaust warranty, nothing else. I would go with the complete system not just a muffler. You will get better performance and sound from the complete kit.

well thats good to hear so is the magnaflow catback hard to install????????????
and are there any noticable gains in the pick up??????????

I had my installed by a local shop here is Michigan and he did it for like 40 bucks or something and it only took him 10 minutes. I noticed a gain yes and a better gain when I got my intake on. Sound of the exhaust gets deeper with intake too.

buy the magnaflow cat back system and then have them piece in a section of piping instead of using the resonator they have with the system. thats what i have and it sounds wonderful.

i got a OBX cat-back 2.5 inch piping with a muffler i love the way my car sounds its way deep, doesnt sound like a lawnmower with a cheap muffler, i had just magnaflow muffler on my max. it was aight i love the way my 1.7L sounds with this cat-back, then my 3.0L wit just the muffler... u will get more power from bigger piping... just dont go too big 2.5 - 2 3/4 inchs.
