I don't think any of that type of stuff is needed unless you have a modded engine that requires a hotter spark, etc.

458.99$.............not worth a smoother firering and maybe a quicker response on the throttle

I bought the Plasma Directs. One was bad and didn't work. Get a new one tomorrow. I ran three and an OEM at the drags last Friday and felt the gains. Besides they look really cool. I will update when I have all four on this Friday as points series #6 takes place. Are they worth the money? probably not. But then again, is anything I have done to my car worth the money in relation to performance gained? Probably not. Is that the point? Probably not. I did notice that my shift points are up about 2-300 rpm...

IDQcivic should not be trusted
Check my review I wrote in the reviews section. I would recommend it, I think it gave me better gains than my intake did... I've got so many mods now its hard to tell exactly what makes the biggest difference..

Notice the one that they sent to replace the one that didn't work has a smaller logo on it. Today when I put it in my OEM coil was sitting on my strut bar when I shut my hood. ARRGGGHHHH!!!! had a dent in my hood bulging out like a big creased pimple. Cost $75 to fix it at paintless dent repair place. They did a perfect job, WHEWWW! So that little logo will now be a constant reminder to me to LOOK before I close my hood.
