spoiler
im thinking about buying the oem spoiler for a 2002 honda civic. anyone know where i can get one for a good price or anyone know another spoiler that looks good for a coupe.
I'm waiting for a kaminari wing for my car, it's supposed to be on its way...I think they look pretty cool. Check out ebay for oem style spoilers, IDK what the quality is but i've seen em on there for around $100, or $175 painted.

If you have a coupe definitely go with teh OEM or Kaminari. If you have a sedan, stay away from spoilers altogether, they just dont work the same as a 2-door for visual style. In my personal opinion though, all spoilers ruin the look of our civic, its got that sleek style to it, perhaps look for one of those lexus or civic hybrid upper lip style trunk tips? give a personal touch without making the back end look taller then it already does from dead on behind.
what spoiler will look good wit the tsunami kit i have the bumper but plannin 2 get the rest of the kit when i can found a real pic stead of those photoshopped pics i think the oem spolier will look good right? or leave it naked lol
If you want the actual OEM, not "factory-like", the cheapest place I have found is handa-accessories.com. They will ship it to you, painted with OEM paint, for around 375. If you are confortable drilling holes in your trunk, this is a DIY mod. The only thing you might need is a spring tool. Which I will sell and ship to you for $5. Why would you have to change the springs in your trunk?
ESPECIALLY WITH THE OEM SPOILER?
if anything then that spoiler you dont have to change it with

the OEM comes with heaier springs to support the extra weight of the spoiler. this way when you are in the trunk getting out the beer, it doesn't fall on your head. mind you, i'm talking about genuine honda. not the "factory-like" fiberglass ones.

Ok
so if i take off my spoiler, do i have to change the springs that hold my trunk?
or will my trunk feel any different? coz i dont have a spoiler on it anymore?
