Does any one know if you would have power upgrade if you just build your car for turbo??? Import builder can do ti but i can only pay it in steps........... and whant to buil my motor first........

I mean will I get more power out of my car if i just build my motor for turbo

I canīt get my engine built and ad a turbo kit at the same tiem, cause i donīt have the cash, and will ad the turbo later

Hereīs what im adding:

IB 1.7 liter Turbo "R/S" Block. Golden Eagle Sleeved, JE custom pistons, eagle/probe rods, balanced, new bearings, new oil pump, bored, honed, assembled, deck checked, polished and balanced crank. new rear main seal, new oil pan gasket, complete..

You have a 2001 or 2002 Civic, right? I'm not positive, but I believe that the IB turbo crate motor is for the previous generation Civic. To answer your question - building your motor for a turbo application will more than likely reduce the compression ratio. Without a turbocharger, less compression will mean less power. So you would see a power decrease with lower compression and no turbo.
