Rep Power: 0 ATTN: Everyone with OEM bodykit
Ok, first off, before all of you flame me, I did do a search on this. I have a question regarding the OEM sideskirts on the 2dr civic. I had them put on my car awhile back when I bought it and one was scratched. I went today and had the new ones put on and noticed that they now come with what I would say is a rubber gasket between the sideskirt and the car. The gasket is black and is very noticeable. My question is this: Is this gasket on anyone elses? I know it is a good protector...do I really need it? I just don't think I like the way it looks! Please, anyone with an OEM bodykit please respond. Thanks!

Rep Power: 0 THe rubber gasket is there so as no water leaks into the skirts, therefore causing rust... most likely a "good" shop that installs bodykits will slap some polyurethane between the skirt and body so as body rust dun occur
theres a shop down here that will coat the inside of a FG bumper you bring in with urethane when they install it... that's what i call service no charge...or it might be in the price but it's still decent
