Recommendations for High-Quality Aftermarket Brake Pads?
Recommendations for High-Quality Aftermarket Brake Pads?
Hello
I am looking to upgrade the brake pads on my Civic and would appreciate some recommendations. I’ve read a bit about ceramic vs. semi-metallic; but I’m not sure which would be the best for both daily driving and occasional spirited drives. Checked https://www.civicforums.com/forums/2-parts-products-msbi guide but still need help .
Has anyone had a great experience with a specific brand or type?
Any advice on what to look for or avoid would be really helpful!
Thanks in advance!
Thank you

I personally like ceramic pads. Low dust, decent bite, don't fade very much. Downsides is they tend to wear rotors faster and they tend to be more expensive.
I've had good experiences with R1 concepts brakes on my friend's 2008. Fairly inexpensive for the performance
