Rep Power: 0 I like the Kaminari hood myself although it is pretty $$ but if you have the $$, I think it's worth it...

Rep Power: 0 jdmhondaparts.com supposedly has hoods that are very close to spoon quality. I've never seen one though and its only $350 if you live in SoCal and can pick up. They also have Sunny Styling hoods.

Rep Power: 313 actually, it doesnt look too hard to make your own, something like a $300 investment, and $150 of that investment is making the REUSEABLE mold, stay tuned, hopefully there will be a DIY up in here in teh next month or so.......

Rep Power: 0 that is a pretty impressive undertaking, to make your own hood. Good luck on it though and let us know how it turns out. I spy a Super Nintendo Super Mario World game cartridge.

I would recommend it. But you will need to replace the hood spring under the latch.

i need a mold, and i can make them for you if you want
fiberglass work is alot like playdough. you mold it into the shape you want, then it warps as it dries, or looses adhesion, then you sand, then you sand some more, and some more, add more glass, you FINALLY get teh shape you want.........
THEN you add teh layer of fibercarbon on top.... presto! you have ANY fibercarbon piece for your car that you want. any. (could use kevlar, too, or kevlar carbon MIX! how sweet would THAT be?)
i wish i had the ***** to make a fibercarbon trunk lid
