Different exhaust question............

I have an 01 LX coupe, I've been waiting for the Greddy Evo to come out, but still no such luck. Greddy said they didn't know when it would be out, so I went and got an Obx muffler and ran 2.25 pipe fron the cat. Sounds really loud, but deep! It's not the sound I was looking for.
Am I missing something? Or is it because of the engine that I wont get the sound? Any help on this would be great!!!! Thanks.

If you look on the original piping you will notice a hump in the front section near the front of the car. That would be the resonator (reduces noise). Now that you have custom piping you no longer have this. That is why your exhaust is loud.

What type of sound are you looking for? Did you keep your resonator? If you wanna soften the sound up you can tell the shop to leave the resonator on.

Sorry guys! I wasn't loged in...
Thanks for all the suggestions, unfortunately my resonator is in some dumpster somewhere, so I will probably have to wait for Greddy to release the system for my LX
Thanks again fellas!
