--DC Header for LX--

So what's up with their Header for the LX???? Our parts section says they're coming out with one this August, I called & they said that was completely FALSE...Does anybody know the truth out there??? Is the LX being CARB legal a reality?? Please tell me DC just didn't want to start a bunch of HYPE yet & they actually have something more tightly guarded than AREA 51 up their greasy coveralls....

My parts guy told me that it was "In developement". Whether thats true or not, I can't wait to find out! By the way, Kamikaze makes a header for the LX.

Has anyone bought the Kamikaze header? Notice any difference? Easy to install? Requires any other modifications? Did you have to get a separate cat to go with it or did you just use the stock cat? Sorry for all the questions, but trying to find some more info on this header before I end up buying it, thanks.

I am going with DC on my car. My installer told me I would need a new cat with any header on the lx, including Kamikaze. He asured me DC was the best way to go. Told me I would only hae th top half of the header with a down pipe connecting to the new cat, onto the exhaust pipe.

Well, I was told by JRP in Canada to "Keep cool for 2 months" about a DC header for a LX. So, they know it's coming out in 2 months! Sweet, eh? Now, which is the better way to go, Kamikaze or DC? I don't care about a cat right now. I have no emission laws here.

I would just wait for the DC header instead of being impatient and going with the Kamikaze header. Hopefully we will know more on this subject in a couple of months.
