Have you guys checked out benen's website lately? They're making stuff for the 01 Civic. Benen Carbon Fiber hoods are the best. No fiberglass whatsoever... Carbon products will be available later in the year, but it's definitely worth the wait for Benen.

Benen hoods are supposed to be one of the best, right up there with the spoon hoods. They're supposed to fit perfectly like an oem hood, however, they are way too expensive. Fiber Images are durable hoods, but i've heard that they don't fit so great. I think when getting a cf hood for under $500, its a gamble. It could either fit great or bad. I've also heard some good things about Vis hoods and DG hoods.

They are up there with spoon, no doubt. Nothing compares with pure cf for strength. Glad to hear quality parts are coming out here [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

i sold my old Datsun 510 racer to one of the guys that works there. hes one of there Tech Guys so i might actually get the hook up on their CF products... lets keep our fingers crossed! and yes, their **** is the ****!!! a very close second to SPOON...if that.

retail is 699 on the benen hood, where is everyone getting off saying these are so darn expensive? fiber images hood is only 50 bucks cheaper than this.
