my 97 honda civic hatchback

I recently purchased my 97 hatchback with a b18a1 engine in it. Im wanting to knw how can I get the most out of this motor without any power adders (such as turbos or superchargers) just all motor and also would like an estimated cost as well and with this build what clutch should I purchase.

Re: my 97 honda civic hatchback

Use the search function. If you want to increase power with THAT motor and keep it NA, you're limited to intake/header/exhaust upgrades. There's a lot of them for your model. You can do a head swap to get VTEC. I think Crower might also make a more aggressive cam for your engine, but then again I don't know too much about B series engines to give you specifics.

Re: my 97 honda civic hatchback

~$1000 bucks for a quality i/h/e setup, more with a cam or head swap.
