Question Tein Coilover w/ Frozen Lock Ring Help

Hey guys I have a set of Tien coilovers on my 99 EG8 that I took to adjusting this weekend. All was fine until I got to this one lock ring on the rear passenger side which is totally frozen to the threads (see pic) >>

I've tried multiple times wrenching at it with the spanners and a breaker bar as well as saturating it over and over with wd-40 and PB blaster. Wound up breaking a couple of the teeth off the ring in the process.

I'm just about out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Re: Tein Coilover w/ Frozen Lock Ring Help

did you try rotating it in both directions? hit it with liquid wrench and let sit for 24h then try again. even if you can rotate it in the opposite direction and hit it with some lube you'll probably be able to clear any corrosion that might have built up. good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion.

I've tried going in the opposite direction with it but it won't budge. Also had it sitting since yesterday in the liquid wrench but didn't improve today. I'll soak it down again overnight tonight though.
