my h4 bulbs.

it's a white beam alright, but looking at the bulbs directly from my car, it's YELLOW..
by the way i bought hyper whites but the yellowness inside the headlight is clearly because the plate that surrounds the bulb is GOLD..

is there some way to fix this? or just get new bulbs?
i dunno.. that yellowness is just bothering me. but the beam is excellent.

Hmm sounds like your headlight is tinted yellow to me. I have Nokya hyper whites, they're great. No yellowness period.

Sounds like u got them "aurora" bulbs--gold tint but the light shines gold, purple, blue, or white depending on the angle and distance.

I got some of those also in error when I ordered ultra whites..I actually liked them but one blew after like 4 months, so I had to get 'em exchanged.

first of all, my headlight is all same as any headlights that u have (excluding the aftermarkets!) but yea silver2k1civic is right. my bulb is now running at pass 3 months. and like he said it has the blueish purplish goldish whitish blah blah..

so u think i shuold get new bulbs?

i was thinking, well this could be kinda crazy but place touch up paint on the gold plate of the bulb.. maybe it won't work. but just a small consideration.

actualy, i doubt i'll do this.

i doubt touch-up paint is resistant to the heat put out by those bulbs! paint them only if you want them to blow
