IDQcivic should not be trusted
It's actually pretty east to install, if you look at the underside of the trunk lid there are little dimples, that's where to drill the holes, everything lines up perfectly. You might as well save your money and buy more parts! I put mine on in less than an hour.

I guess the dealer doesn't want your business. My dealer sold me an aftermarket spoiler installed when I bought the car. I saved money and got the cost rolled into the financing.

DIY! I was real careful and spent a total of about 6 hours over 2 nights to install mine. It was pretty simple though. Just get a friend to help out.

I put mine on last weekend and it's real easy. Go real slow and drill from the underside for the bolts and carefully from the top for the wiring. You may find it helpful to have an assistant around to hold things steady and whatnot. Where you drill is already market on the underside of the lid. If you still don't feel comfortable doing it, go to 2 or 3 shops and ask for a quote. Bring the spoiler with when you do this. I can't imagine a reputable shop charging more than $100 to install an oem spoiler, it's not hard at all.
