Rep Power: 292 Why Are So Many People Selling Their Projectors?
I'm thinking about picking up a pair of black projectors for my car, and have noticed a trend for a while. I see people selling their projectors in marketplace all the time. Right now 01EX is even trading his projectors for STOCK headlights. Is there something bad about projectors that I should know? Oh and btw, what company makes the projectors pimpdakota has? The only company I've seen are TYC.

Was wondering if you knew of any projectors that would fit the 1.7...
What kind are yours, btw? How dim are they really at night?
Thx! BTW, are you gonna get the HID conversion?
Peace!

Rep Power: 0 I don't find my TYC projectors too dim at all, and I live in a fairly rural area. I've had no problems whatsoever with them after the installation. I like the way black ones look with my car, since I'm running a red/black theme. They will look good with black window tint, black m3 mirrors, a black altezza grille, and a black lower grille.

Rep Power: 0 I have the same kind that PimpDakota has on his car, but in silver on clear. I love the way that they look, people always complement on the way that it looks...i have even had people mistake my car for a BMW!! No BS!! Anyways, i find that these lights are actually more blue with my hyper whites in them than my regular headlights that i had. Yes i cleared my regular lights, but i love the look of these as night. i have a really blue LED light in the city light area, my hyper whites for lows and highs, and a single filiment bulb for the turns, so tehy only go on when they are blinking, and i LOVE the look. As for as them being dim, i have no idea what those people are talkin about. I get TONS of light with mine. Maybe thats just the TYC, i dont know, cause i dont have those ones. Hope this helps you out. Good luck!

Rep Power: 0 I have the TYC projectors too, they aren't dim - but if you don't have them aimed correctly you won't see a thing! (learned that the hard way) They are also a kind of pain in the behind to get to the aiming bolts on them for various reasons, so I imagine people are just sick of the hassle of getting them to work right. The stock lights are easier to deal with

Rep Power: 292 Nobottlejustthrottle, What brand projectors did you get? If the light isn't too bad, I'll get them. No one around here has projectors, so I'd probably be the only one. Black projectors look damn good on silver too.

Rep Power: 0 Does anyone know what the APC black projector light pattern/brightness is on these? I am likely to be getting them as long as there aren't any bad stories about them. Lights blowing out? Leakage?
Thanks
