If u must have a non-oem ****, I personally would seriously consider only the Momo and Sparco *****--these are some of the few nice and high-quality ***** available...IMHO.
That said, it is really your choice and if you like the Razo *****, then get one...they seem like they are good quality and look decent. Look at my sig for my preference...

Happy modding!!

RAZO's seem to be of good quality. I'm running a DC Sports **** on my car now, but I've got RAZO CF pedals that have taken about a half a year's worth of abuse (along with a lot of salt off my shoes in the wintertime) and they still look new. I've never used a Sparco ****, but I have used the MOMO Race Airleather, and it's also an excellent ****, but a but pricey.

From all the shift ***** I've looked at Razo seems to come out with some fairly plain looking *****, but of high quality as well. I reccomended a Razo shift **** to my sister. We looked at the ones on optauto.com and we selected a round black onyx shift **** with Razo engraved on it. Works good, looks good. Out of all the shift ***** out there, I only like the Razo and some of the no-name ones. Simply because of the bland styling. The Momo ones are gross. The Sparco ones are gross. They're too "European". Hell, who knows what they're too much like. I don't like any other shioft ***** besides Razo.

I have the razo **** on my 2k2 lx and it is great quality, it comes with 3 different adapter sizes. This **** does not have screws on the side, instead it screws on at the shaft like a factory ****, therefore it is tighter and will not be able to come off when you grab the shifter hard. I have the white ball with the razo label on top..

I drive an LX Coupe Automatic. I replaced my **** with this:

Razo Automatic Trans Gun Grip Chrome

I could post up a pic of my car's interior if y'all wanna see how it looks like.

It took MAJOR MOD to install this correctly. If you want more details - just lemme know..

i don't know about RAZO and anything that is universal fit. try to get a **** that is designed to screw directly onto the shaft without adapters. i have a GREDDY **** and it feels heavy and solid. the DC sports **** also screws directly onto Honda shafts.

XoULaBeAT, what was the major mod you had to do to fit that bad boy on there, did you have to cut the shaft to shoren it or something...

Tricky:

Well, first off, to anyone who is interested in buying this ****, it is truly meant for Toyota, Nissan, and Suzuki.. I found out later when those stupid websites selling parts like these DID NOT MENTION its compatibility of what brand of cars that it could be installed.

This **** has two buttons. Well, the first one we all know - for shifting. Park, Reverse, etc etc. For shifting. I dunno if there's a given term for this, but yeah you get the picture.

There is a tiny press on/off button BELOW the first button which stands for OVERDRIVE FUNCTIONS. That's right. Honda doesn't have a OD function at all. Toyotas and all that other makers do as I just mentioned.

So when you get this ****, it will come with a rubber unit that stands as a neck and hides the electrical wirings(the wires are for OD) below the ****. As you can see in the picture, there is that black material below the ****. That's the part I'm talking about. you can adjust the height (standard comes in 3 inches long I think..) but I cut it to approximately 1 inch to fit the OEM ****'s height. - Well somewhere around there. Inside this **** has its own, some sort of a gear-shift supporting dock that helps you press the first button of the ****.

Now it all seems easy:
Take out the OEM **** along with the white bottle-top thingy
Insert the rubber neck support of the ****(black thing below the ****), after cutting the neck from base 3inches to 1
Replace the white bottle top with Razo's own gear-shift support dock
And finally insert the **** on top of its neck.

HERE'S THE MAJOR PROBLEM..
For those of you with the OEM AT shift, just before turning on your engine, press the shift button couple times. If you are doing this in a quiet area, you will hear some *click clicks*, which you are supposed to hear.

After installing this ****, I no longer heard the *click clicks*.
What's worse? I couldn't really.. push the button from P to D4 either!!
And on top of that, I could get my keys turn off the engine, but I couldn't get the key off the car.
It was literally stuck.

So turning off the engine, I partially uninstalled the **** to see wassup. The problem was that the gear-shirt support dock DID NOT FIT CORRECTLY(AT ALL) in to the main screw of the **** insert. It was bulky, thick, and well, it just overall didn't work.

It's like a female/male jack. One got the hole one got the stick and if the stick has the equal size that's compatible with the hole, both can stick together. Apparently, the dock did not fit to the stick of the transmission because the hole of the dock was too dang small.

I had no choice but to melt and remold the hole of the dock by flaming up a screw driver and shove it in the dock to reshape the hole. Good thing it was plastic.

Results? Ugly. You wish you could find something else as an alternative solution. I didn't have any technical tools since my work was all home-based, so whatever you make, you had to make some..thing out of it.

After like 10 trial-and-error remolding after molding the hole, it finally fit pretty well to be inserted to the **** screw.

I still, however was unable to take the key out the car. I'm not quite sure what went wrong but it all came to realization that the DOCK was still the problem.

Remolding the circle to fit the **** screw was perfect. But the problem is how DEEP is the dock suppose to be inserted for the shift button can be PROPERLY pressable? Plus, the concern of aproximativity.

This was a bitch I tell ya. It took few hours to make this right because we had to dig in through the dock little by little testing once each time we remolded the dock AGAIN.. This kept happening repetitively until we actually found a equivalent fit..

The shift button was 100% operating perfectly like the OEMs and our work was done..

It took a grueling six hours to install this right. I'll upload a pic here. It's a very clean look, but I wish I had it in silver, not Chrome. It doesn't really quite match with the AT plate board which is silver.. But yeah it still looks good either way.

Oh yeah, the **** has 2 wires to be connected to OD function of the car if you have it. I installed mine with this attached to it and it caused severe problems that was a part of inablity to shift up and down.

During uninstallation, I cut the wires off completely.

You have to watch out with some of the Razo products they are selling.. They leave out the fine prints.. I got this as a present for my birthday and yeah me and friends who gave this to me were all "Doh!"

For my finished result, I will post my pics of this very soon.

I think the HX with the CVT might benefit from something like this. It has an overdrive function. Don't know where that button is though?

Grey: I really thought of you as a knowledgeable person and a fair moderator...until you said this.

WTF?!

OK...I've vented...this, of course is not meant as a personal attack against you, it is merely disgust at such views.

I havent tried to take off the shift **** on my civic 2002 ex

all you have to do is unscrew it right?

I was playing with it a little and I noticed that the

shift boot would move while I unscrewed, and yes I was

unscrewing the right way

Silver2k1Dood: Huh? What, you must have a Sparco shift ****, right? I was speaking as a member of this site rather than as a moderator. Can't I have an opinion? I think the Sparco shift ***** are too complex. The Razo ones are simple and therefore elegant.

Here are some Sparco *****, see what I meen?

Grey: Nevermind...didn't mean to offend u or take out my frustration on ya. I was at work and having to put up with an idiot co-worker who says any and all American cars are far superior to any "Ricer-mobile" (this is what he calls ALL imports). Anyway, he drives an ugly Olds Cutlass Ciera! What does he know...I just let him get to me I guess..sorry again...Iam All for "to each his own".
