Which Tires?

The current tires i have (which the dealer put on) have the following numbers:

205/45/ZR17

They are worn out already so i was jsut wondering which brand or type of tire i should buy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Depends alot on whether you want ultimate performance or decent tread life and good performance, also on how much money you spend. BFGoodrich G Force's are among the best for expensive performance (won't last long tho) and Kumho 712's run the bottom end of the price spectrum but offer good performance and good treadwear. Also, alot of dealers put new wheels and tint civics before they sell them (read: my civic, haha), it helps move them off the floor to a more performance oriented crowd...

Falken 451's are amazing on dry and especially in water. These tires are great and have excellent traction plus they look really cool. Pritty cheap too.

I'll have to agree with choiboy19's choice: for the money, Khumo Ecsta's are just awesome.
Have them in my Civ, 205/40ZR/17, and will surely buy them again once mine wear out....just my .02

Just another thought: These tires are also amazingly good in the rain--have gone over 100mph on them...not that I condone that sort of thing

Oh, and the correct spelling is Kumho...

Here: Discount Tire. They're usually under $100 eachand if u find a better price online than at the store, they will honor it!

Go with the Kumho esta 712's tirerack.com has them for 88 each and if u take them to a local discount tire store most of the time they will match the price
but make sure u get the esta supra 712's and not the 711's the 711's are cheaper but the 712's are well worth the few dollars more
i got the 712's in 205/45/17 and love em

You'll pay more for the 712 but you'll get more life out of the 711's and save $100. Too bad the 711 doesn't come in 205/45/17.

i looked at the 711's and i didnt care for them because that the the tires i was originally goin for
and even though the 712's have a lower tread life on them i have dogged the hell out of these tires and they have been hold up good
i would recomend the 712's and will be buyin more 712's
