I would say the dc sport race header for the d series I guess. Not much gains out of it but it will be fairly decent.

yeah its a low mile motor, might as while run it as hard as i can till i swap it. i know im not going to get much power just looking for the most, good quality. but thanks for the feedback going to look into it

I just looked and theres no dc sport headers for a sohc d16 for a 98 dx, maybe its just my lack of knowledge towrd hondas..

The best d series header and actually f and b header as well are the bisimoto engineering ones.

Im not sure about the 6th gen but i know in the 7th gen the dx/lx exhaust is different from the ex exhaust so make sure theyre all the same before you decide on a header. The bisimoto headers have the best gains, even more than the dc race headers and cost about the same.

Isn't your manifold the kind with the catalytic conv growing out of it? If it is dump it & get a normal ex/si (d16y8 eng) header/cat/catback setup. Not many manufacturers make an aftermarket catifold.
