Who would be interested in breather filters?

I'm considering releasing a line of '01+ Civic specific Breather Filters. But i wanted to see what the demand actually was on these. Trying to see if its worth my while or not.
The breathers are the same as the universal breathers that are out on the market, but are designed to fit on the 7th gen civic. They will run $30 + actual USPS shipping to your door.

If you dont know what a breather filter is, or what it does...
There is a tube that runs from the top of the valve cover and in to the intake, this is a vaccum line. This line creates suction when the throttle is open and sucks fumes from the crank case back in to the intake. The breather filter replaces this vaccum line with a mini cone-like filter. The breather filter allows for the fumes to escape instead of continuing to cycle through the engine. At the same time, the breather filter allows heat to discipate from the engine, cooling the oil that is in the crankcase. We all know a cooler engine is a happy engine.

If this seems like a part you would be interested in, please let me know. If there is enough of a demand on these, i will have them available in 1-2 weeks.

Well your first mistake was buying an APC product. And second was "rigging".

Mine are more expensive because beginning production is always more expensive. The more that sell, the cheaper the price goes. I cant change that...laws of supply and demand. Anyhow, mine arent rigged, they are actually built specifically for the 7th gen. You run the risk of a seal seperating and dirt entering the valve cover, which is a nightmare all in its own. And so you modified a breather for $10, but you also probably paid $20 for the breather itself, so you still look at $30 cost. Dont get me wrong, im not putting you down. Im just pointing out that this is a more reliable filter then a modified one, and its not that expensive compared to other solutions.

i wouldn't mind having a better filter than the one ia have now but it's just a breather filter and IMO, it is not significant. of course i don't live on APC products, but it's something i needed at the time and it does what it's supposed to do. no one is gonna gain HP from it anyway
