K&N INTAKE KIT?

Does anyone have one of these? How are they compared to other intakes in the market? I recently found out they sell them here in Toronto for about $135.00 cdn. I just want to hear your input on this. Thanks!

I wasn't aware they made an intake, I thought they just provided the filters for them...

they are in the process of makeing an intake for our cars. there is a thread somewhere about it.

yeah, i remember getting an eMail about it...they're having people with EX autos test it in cali...I only make one of those requirements...the EX part....ahhh well...our bros will let us know how it goes.

I have a friend who has the K&N FIPK on his 00 Si...he really likes it. But as it has already been said, the kit for our cars isn't out yet. Hopefully it will be around soon, tho...

Tstarks, where in Tdot do they sell them, if they're 135 I WANT!! K&N has always been the best for air filter or intake, muscle car guys swear by them.

Canadian tire sells them. I found out by going to www.knfilters.com, clicked under intake kits under the products menu(on the left side of homepage), scrolled down to the bottom of the page, and clicked on "USE OUR APPLICATION GUIDE TO FIND A PERFORMANCE KIT FOR YOUR VEHICLE." Now when you search there are 2 results which are:

MODEL: CIVIC
ENGINE: 1.7 L4 F/I
PRODUCT: Fuel Injection Performance Kit <-----------THATS THE ****
PART #: 57-3513
COMMENTS: ALL

MODEL: CIVIC
ENGINE: 1.7 L4 F/I
PRODUCT: K&N OIL FILTER
PART #: HP-1010
COMMENTS: ALL

I found out Canadian Tire sells them when I checked the website for dealers in my area(which is pretty much all Canadian Tire stores). When I called a branch close to my house the parts department confirmed that they sell the FIPK for our civics. I'm gona go today after work today to even further confirm this. If all is good I'm gona go for it.
