on my old car...a ford probe...much disgusting compared to my civic i had 17 inch rims on it...niche runners...to be exact...on tires -> 225 45...the bolt pattern of a probe and my rims are 5x 114.3 ....now heres the question...a guy wants to by them off me...he has a 93 jeep grand cherokee...sounds like it will never fit but i checed it out and his bolt pattern is also 5 x 114.3 so the bolt patterns are the same however i have a feeing his width now is prob 8...and i think mine are 7.5 i think...so wll m rims fit on hisjeep grand cherokee...and if not what kinds of cars shoul ibe looking to sell to? thanx guys and let me know....

I thought I heard once apon a time that front wheel drive cars and rear wheel drive cars had different style rims,....

meaning you had to get a rim made for your vehicles drive train?????

maybe its true, if not, im sure someone will say so

If it is the same bolt pattern it should fit there are a few things that have to be taken into consideration though. If there is no offset or not the right offset there may be rubbing problems. If the wheels are to wide they won't fit but something tells me that he should have a lot more space than you did on your probe. Basically if I were you I would say look here are the sizes of the rims call jeep and see if they will fit your car. That's just my 2 cents
