Installation is actually fairly simple...the purple EG pictured above was our first Sema car, and we installed a roof cap there in a casino parking lot.
Just a quick run down, you will remove rain gutters, when the roof cap arrives, it will have some extra edge (this helps support it through the shipping process) you will want to do a test fitting, and trim that down where needed, also on cars that have been painted several times the roof will sit higher or lower in spots, while doing the test fitting youll want to observe these places. you will then sand the underneath side of your carbon cap(this roughs up the surface and helps the adhesive get a better grip) sanding more in places that will go over higher spots on your roof, do a few test fittings here as you dont want to over sand. when your comfortable with the fitting and the roof cap is completely flush and positioned exactly where you want it, remove it, add your adhesive, usually an epoxy or 3m adhesive to your oem roof, covering it equally, place cap onto oem roof, and be sure to apply equal amounts of pressure evenly over the entire roof, replace rain gutters and thats it!
