I was told that 18 x 7.5 or 19 x 7.5 was the widest you can put.

ok KIDS HERES THE DEAL ....... i have 18 x 7.5 3 piece pultec's and the 4 door is lowered with sportline 1.4 drop ... tires are 215/35's anything bigger will rub,......
i wanted 19x8 but the REAR fenders need to be cut ... theres about 1/2 inch lip ... if you file it u should be good .... WATCH OUT though cause if your car is lowered like mine, your gonna need
camber kits .... the rear is really bad without the corrections...

Anything by 8 will rub. You won't be able to turn and the rims will stick out a little. If you want to drop it the fenders will hit the tires. The tires won't tuck in.
