D17A9 manifold

Hi all, this is my first post

Basicly I've been having issues finding any performance parts for my 03 coupe, At the moment all it has is a K&N incuction kit and im looking for a new manifold, can anybody point me in the right direction? I have read on another thread that a D16 manifold would fit?

Thanks

Re: D17A9 manifold

Yes the d16 manifold fit with some work (at least on the d17a1/a2). The best way is using a k24 or k20 throttle, with the IAC, MAP, etc.

Re: D17A9 manifold

get an aftermarket d16 one. if you got some basic knowledge of hacking and cutting stuff you wont have a problem getting the d16 one in there.

there is a DIY d16 intake mani onto a d17 somewhere on the forum.

Re: D17A9 manifold

aaah right ok, I have no prior experiance with engine or anything mechanical of any sort so id like to get something off the shelf and fit it using my trusty hains manual.. Is the D17A9 the uk spec one or something? I'v got no idea how ours would differ from the us models engin wise.

Re: D17A9 manifold

hmm looks like its NOT a US model engine...

cause all we got are teh a1, a2, a6, and the natural gas variant, which the engine code escapes me at the moment..

the skunk2 or edelbrock manifolds hit the firewall, just the stock z6 or y8 fit. the 01-05 engine bay is smallest than the older civics
