I recamend everyone get the port and polish, my buddy got his 2k1civic done and added just headers and he's running 13's. Im getting my done in the first week of july and i already have all the DC sports bolt ons. I cant wait!!!!!!!

Rep Power: 0 Go to Gude.com, it talks about the port package, but doesnt show about 2001civic. just call the number on the website, they will tell u everything u need to know...

Rep Power: 0 I'll get a pic. of his and mine and put it on the site. Our Team is Called "Morbid". My civic is 2 dr coupe , white , ground control coil overs on 17inch white "RS" rims, AEM cold air intake, DC sports header, dc sports Exhaust, AFC Vtec controller set at 2200 rpm's , Tenzo R 5 inch Tach with shift light. Clear tail lights, and projection head lights. Getting my Tenzo R racing sets on saturday.

Rep Power: 0 There's already a few threads here about Gude with links and what they offer. What I wanted to know was the exact stuff that your buddy installed to get his car into the 13.7 ET range. Like is it a street cam, or a full race and how does he get the extra fuel into the engine to get that kind of power? Detalis, not what Gude does, we already know that. What are the true specs on this particular engine you are talking about.
I'm serious about doing some NA engine upgrades and I need to know what was actually done to the car in question here.

Rep Power: 0 Ok, this guy says he lowered his VTEC engagement to 2200RPM with a VTEC controller. So far no body has been able to pull this off. The gude package can in now way lower your 1/4 to a 13.7 alone. Im going to call it on this one...

Rep Power: 0 I think that sorta depends on the cam grind, the timing, and the air/fuel you can get to the engine. Actually from what little I know, the only way to build power is to make the engine run higher revs with enough horses to pull the car to those revs. He's got to have something going to get torque at those low rpm's and HP at the higher rpm's.

Rep Power: 0 OK,.. where do i start...no one yet has been able to hook up a VTEC controller, so if his works, everyone wants to know.......and i want proof......next i am one of the first peeps that posted info on the GUDE package, and the horsepower gain was estimated by them to be 45-50HP, so a civic with roughly 185 max most likely to run a 13 range quartermile sounds iffy. lets see a time slip and this car.........then ill belive anything

Rep Power: 0 wow, thats unbelievable.... does he have an all new SI or something. I REALLY DOUBT a header and a port+polish can make it run in the 13's. I'm calling this one too.

Rep Power: 0 I just talked to gude last week cause im getting the head work done and installed for $1900. The way they get most of the horsepower is by milling the head and bringing the compression to 11-1 or how ever you say it.

Rep Power: 0 there is now way he could have done that with jsut that. The owner of my car tema has had a port and polish by gude on his INTERGRA grs and he only runs high 14 and he has a whole more done then jsut a head job.
