Re: EDM tail lights
^^^ Yup. I had my reverse lights converted to turn signals, but that looked gay and you can't see crap with amber back-up lights.
You should be able to get the VAT waived, how much is shipping going to run you?

Re: EDM tail lights
anyways, tail lights for £134 (before VAT)....that's not that horrible...
i think i'll look into this some more....if shipping+canadian taxes+duty+brokerage isn't so bad, i might buy a pair...
btw, are EDM tails functionally different than USDM ones? i know the turn signals are a diff color but i also heard the EDM ones might not have side markers?

Re: EDM tail lights
Yeah, you do have to fiddle with the EDM tails a little to make them work in a USDM or CDM vehicle. The little fourth light bulb (parking light I believe) that we have is plugged for some reason on the UKDMs. You can see where the just "welded" a plastic cover over the socket, so you have to use a Dremel and open it back up. Other than that and changing to amber turn signals, they're plug and play.
As far as shipping goes, if you want to pay VAT, I can see how much it would be for me to ship them from base using the US Postal system. Might end up being cheaper, night not with VAT involved. Let me know if you're interested and I'd be happy to help. That way you avoid all the extra taxes, duty and so on. PM me if you're interested.

let me know if you want some rare OEM goodies...
ie. authentic OEM EL skirts (same as real ferio skirts)...it looks a bit different than OEM USDM skirts and they're also better than the cheapo aftermarket replica garbage the scratches up your paint

Re: EDM tail lights
Skirts and a lip kit are in my distant future after I build the bottom end (just need bearings now!) and replace some body panels. If you're around when I'm ready, I'll hit you up.
