Re: RS Grill Not Fitting Help

depends where you bought it.
if its real jdm, they only fit the sedans.

but if its a knockoff rs that fits the coupe, like ebay or watever, then it should fit.

rs are sedans, not coupes. =]]

yup, buy the sedan radiator cover or just leave the cover off for better cooling

Re: RS Grill Not Fitting Help

not to start too much of a discussion here, or anything, but wouldn't it cool better with the cover?? would it not cause more air to go through the radiator, rather than over the top of it?? i've heard of companies selling model specific aluminum plates for this purpose, for cars not equipped with such a cover from the factory.

Re: RS Grill Not Fitting Help

I have one on my '02 coupe w/o the sedan radiator cover and its fine. The only downside is when washing the car don't spray for a long period of time at the grille because the water will spray on the engine and will give it the splashed look on the motor (depending on how dusty your motor is). Another downside is there is a decent size gap between the grille and the engine bay. With the hood down though you will never kno a difference and neither will anyone else....

Re: RS Grill Not Fitting Help

i dont think it will make a difference either way. with the cover off, there is a big hole for more air to pass directly from the front through the engine bay.

Re: RS Grill Not Fitting Help

lol. our car is slow, yet economical...it's just one of those things that's on our car...rad cover on or off, you probably won't feel any difference, so it doesn't matter.

Re: RS Grill Not Fitting Help

yeah u need a radiator cover from the sedan...
IMO don't get a radiator cover, less weight on your car.

no radiator cover= less weight= 20 hp extra. LOL.
